Antioxidant MD1024

MD1024 is a stabilizer and highly effective metal deactivator for organic copolymers. It does not produce color stains and can be used alone or in combination with phenolic antioxidants. MD1024 is mainly used in polyolefin materials that come into contact with metals, and is targeted at processing and long-term use. It is very effective for all grades of polyethylene homopolymers and copolymers of polypropylene resins.

MD1024 is used in polyolefins with talc as filler as an effective processing and end-use stabilizer. We recommend mixing it with antioxidant 1010 in polyolefins for best results.

In addition, MD1024 is an effective anti-extraction stabilizer in finished pellets, especially in fuel and gasoline hoses made of NBR. If used in combination with appropriate phenolic antioxidants (such as: 245), it will play an excellent stabilizing role in synthetic or natural rubber latex pellets. It is also effective in homopolymer or copolymer polypropylene resins.
